Ao Oni Theory ???I REALLY, REALLY want to know what all of you think of this theory.
I'm not sure if this theory is original but I'd rather show you all it first so you can see if it's good or not !! This is a bit unorganized since I wrote it at school but yea !! I'm sure there's a lot of details missing too but…

What if the Ao Oni wasn't an oni at all, but a human? A serial killer who wore a blue oni mask to keep his identity hidden from his victims. Hiroshi seemed calm on the outside but he was stressing out deep inside. So he began to hallucinate. The Ao Oni is just one big, constant hallucination that disguises the real enemy; a mysterious masked man with a knife. Hiroshi's friends call the man the "Ao Oni" due to his blue oni mask and his cruel intentions. The other onis were nothing at all. Just more of Hiroshi's odd hallucinations. When each of his friends died, the hallucinations got worse.
Ao Oni Theory- LGBT TeensAo Oni is about LGBT teenagers trying to come out of the closet to a society that looks down on the gay community.

The Oni represents the public; if the characters aren't in the closet or if it sees the  character enter the closet, the Oni will try to turn the character into another Oni in the same way homophobic societies will attempt to change an LGBT individual's orientation.

The closet represents... well, the closet. The character is only safe from the Oni if they are in a closet and the Oni doesn't know they're hiding in the same way LGBT individuals will often hide their orientation from the public to avoid backlash.

I just thought you all would love to see this~ While looking on her blog, I found this and she says it inspired her to make AoOni,...well... that's what I got from the translation anyways. xD

If anyone is super nervous about whether this is a legitimate thing, but by now you should obviously be able to tell it's alright, I can understand nervousness. I myself will be purchasing it tonight, and if anyone really want's to know if it is a legitimate thing, I'll gladly note you once it arrives.

AKAME ONI English patch releasedA month or two ago, I stopped collecting oni games. After realizing how many hundreds of low-quality and unfinished games are available on avangs and naver, it really is no longer worth it to keep on picking them all up. I started to delete the really bad ones. My final collection is here:
